Riku stared at the ceiling for what seemed like ages. He heard a knock at the door. ‘Who is it?” Riku called out. “It’s me, Axel. Got it memorised?” Riku got of the bed. Axel was one of Riku childhood friends, along with Marluxia. There parents sometimes called them the three musketeers.  Riku opened the door to see a fiery red head. Axel walked into Riku’s room. “I brought Marly with me.” Axel said as Marluxia waltzed through the door. “Sora told me all about what happened so I told Marly. We could help you.” Riku flopped onto his bed and once again stared at the ceiling. Marluxia sat beside Riku. “We need to talk. Why did you run away?” Marluxia asked. “Because… Sora has been my friend longer then you guys have. I have never thought about going out with him and I am not gay.” Riku said. “It’s getting late. You better go.” Riku said quickly before either of them could say something. Axel and Marluxia left and Riku soon fell asleep.

In the morning.

Riku sat up and rubbed his eyes. He remembered what happened with Sora. “Sora you idiot. Why did you tell me that?” Riku said to himself. Riku looked up at the clock. 8:00. He got up and ready for school. He left to walk to school.

Sora slowly walked out the front door. He shouldn’t have told Riku that. What was he thinking. He got out of the gate and started heading for school. He remembered the look on Riku’s face when he told him. It was a look of fear and confusion. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He got to the school gates and Kairi and Namine found him. “Sora. What’s wrong?” Namine questioned. Sora could never keep things from Namine. He told them. He didn’t want Kairi to listen because it would be all round the school but she wouldn’t leave.

Riku walked through the front gates of the school. Kairi stood in front of him with her arms folded. “Riku! How could you? You are so cold hearted sometimes. Sora opened up and you ran away!” Kairi said quite loudly. “Fuck off Kairi. I don’t want to talk about it. Especially not to you.” Riku said and pushed passed her. Kairi stormed off. The bell rung.

First period: English.

Riku sat down in his chair. He couldn’t help but notices some of the angry glares of some of Sora’s friends. The teacher walked in. “Okay class time to start. Today I want to practise letting out your feelings in words. Let out how you really feel. The school wants to stop all the fist fights.” She said. Riku sighed. He always thought the teacher was a nut job. Kairi put up her hand. “Miss!” I would like to start.” The teacher nodded. “I won’t say names but Ukir is a complete dick. Aros opened up to him and he run away. That is cowardly. He is a complete bastard. I think he should leave. He…” Kairi got stopped in mid sentence when Riku suddenly stood up. He looked like he could kill her. “Shut it you bitch! It has got nothing to do with you so stay OUT of it!” Riku shouted. He collected his books in his bag and walked out the door. “My school is full of fucktards.” Riku muttered under his breath. He sat by his locker until the next class started.

Second period: Maths.

Riku liked maths. Especially today, because his teacher had eagle eyes. No one could write notes to him or talk to him.

Third period: P.E.

Today they were learning to dance. They all had to pair up. Riku figured no one would go with him so he just sat there.
“May I have this dance?” He heard a girl say as she started to giggle. He looked up to see Namine. “I don’t hate you for what happed with Sora. You are just confused.” 50 minutes past. Namine looked up at Riku. “Meet me by the tree and lunch time.” She said as they danced. Riku smiled and nodded.

Lunch time.

Riku made it to the tree and found Namine drawing like always. “Hey Riku. Do you like my picture?” She said while holding up her sketch. Riku looked. It was of two people holding hands, but they had no heads. “It isn’t finished yet. I am meeting someone else here too.” Namine said and look behind Riku. Riku turned around and saw Sora walking over. Riku froze. Here was his chance to talk to Sora but he didn’t know what to say. Namine stood beside him. “Good luck. I will be up the tree drawing if you need me.” She said as she climbed the tree.
